Djbrooksie started off like most dj’s(in a bedroom).
It took him a while to find his wings but when he did there was no stopping him.
From doing youth club raves back in the day to playing on stage and rubbing shoulders with almost every dance music legend you could think of.
Brooksie is the founder of Feeling Funky Promotions a hugely successful event since early 90’s.
He moved onto the UK garage circuit and found himself travelling far and wide to events every weekend.
Brooksie stopped for a while for his young children but the itch never went away.
On the comeback Feeling Funky was successfully revived along with a residency at Back to the Old Skool for 11 years and still going strong.
Brooksie now hosts a Saturday morning breakfast show on Unity dab radio and a weekly sunday evening show for Stream for soul and you will see his name on many a festival poster

Feeling Funky Promotions was founded way back in 1993 in a small town with a huge population Borehamwood.
What started out as a plan for few mates dj’ing to their mates quickly turned into a monthly over 200 strong FF family.
Then onto a weekly event while always keeping those same numbers
From then on FF has risen to a 500 strong Millennium new years eve party and full club nights up and down the country to small wine bars for some great intimate reunion parties.
Covering such genres of 80s soul, RnB, Hip-Hop, UKG and soulful house we have found everybody likes a bit of everything.
As we continue to put out these great events, we are always looking to freshen things up and bring in new talent mixed with wiser older music connoisseurs.
